They make money through sponsorship, Google AdSense revenue and affiliate marketing.

YouTube, also known as YouTube Content Creator, is a type of videographer that produces videos for the video sharing website YouTube.

You Tubers movies cut videos of the size, suitable for viewers, at calculated intervals. 

They also edit footage to achieve more stable, better and brand-appropriate video. 

Finally, they release and promote their videos publicly.

It depends on what you define YouTube

If it's just uploading videos to YouTube, all you need to do is upload videos, YouTube.

This is 10x more important than the videos you make. If you make videos on things that people are actively searching for, you're going to get more traffic, resulting in more people watching your content and potentially subscribing. 

As I said before, you don't need to be at the top of the line like people say you do, you only need "enough" content in one sense. 

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is no longer what it used to be on YouTube, it's all about getting into the suggested section of popular videos. If you create a video with metadata similar to other popular videos,

Your video is likely to be recommended along with what you want.

Obviously apply this to the genre of content you want to create, 

I suggest you don't limit yourself to just one niche or type of content. 

I also advise you to stay away from gaming, it is not going very well from what I have seen and it is very much satisfied with my choice. 

That doesn't mean you can't make it,

But if you can help, I would suggest something else.

I've seen a couple of misleading answers that mention the length of the video and how you should avoid making short videos and long videos. it's wrong.

Don't be afraid to make videos longer than 10 minutes, I personally say try not to go longer than 15 minutes but in some cases you can go even further and be fine

YouTube puts a lot of emphasis on "watch time". Longer videos always have the potential to last longer than short videos. 

You can also place more ads on videos longer than 10 minutes, earning more money from long videos than short videos.

I also saw some misinformation about how the YouTube Partner Program works. 

There's no need to monetize videos and qualify as a "partner". 

I have channels I have never uploaded and are eligible to make money right away, some of which were created just a few weeks ago. 

If you don't just want to be with AdSense, you can join the YouTube Network (MCN).

Many great You Tubers will consider you doing this because having a support team can provide a safer way to earn revenue that can help you with the issues you encounter. 

YouTube networks become more valuable to you as your channel grows and as you grow. 

Just be careful not to sign a long lock in the contract.

And those are very basic things. Chances are you won't get fast success but it is possible.
