First PSL upset Ben Dunk is not part of any team. Drafting of Pakistan Super League (PSL 7) has been completed and franchise owners have selected their favorite players.

Umar Akmal's return to the league while many big players including famous cricketers Ben Dunk, Chris Gayle, and Ahmed Shehzad will not be included in PSL 7.

In the drafting of PSL Seven, Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings, Islamabad United, and Peshawar Zalmi retained 8.8 while Quetta Gladiators and defending champions Multan Sultans retained 7.7.

The drafting ceremony of the 7th edition of the Pakistan Super League was held at the National High-Performance Center in Lahore in which PCB Chairman Rameez Raja participated while the franchise owners selected 18 players in 6 different categories. The event started on 27th January. It will continue till February 27 in which a total of 34 matches will be played.

Social media users are commenting on the drafting of PSL Seven. International players including many national players will not be seen on the field in PSL.

Australian batsman Ben Dunk wrote in a tweet from Quetta Gladiators a few days ago about the impatient wait for PSL Seven: "Can't wait for the start!"

On the other hand, even on social media, Ben Dunk's fans seem to be expressing regret over not including the drafting of PSL Seven.

A user named Abdullah Wahab Khan wrote, "Ben Dunk turned down Australian domestic offers only for PSL but he was not included in the draft of PSL Seven."

Abdullah added: "It is difficult to believe that he was not included in the PSL Seven. It may be recalled that he was one of the foreign players who stayed in Pakistan to play PSL during the Coronavirus.

Palwasha Nazir, a Twitter user, jokingly wrote in the caption of a photo of Ben Dunk:

 "Fans of Ben Dunk Qalandars will miss you," Palwasha added.

A user named Shaban Anwar has written that "Ben Dunk is saddened that he left BBL and all domestic tournaments only to play in PSL Seven then PSL Seven was not sold in the draft."

Mohammad Ahmed wrote: "I am sorry that Ben Dunk, who left his league and chose PSL, did not get two of the most slaves."

The user further wrote that similarly when New Zealand refused to visit, Chris Gayle had raised his voice for Pakistan. "I didn't take both."

Nazim Khan writes in his tweet that "the biggest upset of PSL Seven is that no one took Ben Dunk".

He further wrote that Ahmed Shehzad, Sahibzada Farhan, Junaid Khan, Zahid Mahmood, Emad Butt, Arsh Ali Khan, Nasir Nawaz, Ali Imran, Umar Khan, and Abrar Ahmed were also not taken by any franchise for PSL 2022.
